This is our garden. It used to be all honeysuckle and weeds. Slowly
Rebecca and I have transformed the area into our garden. We love to
spend time planting and growing flowers and plants.
We started the garden by clearing out wild honeysuckles in the
front so we could put out the bird feeders. In the winter there are
all kinds of birds that come and eat the bird food. I have two
favorites: the Cardinals because of how many there are (like
20 at once), and the Wood Peckers because they are so big and full
of color.
After the bird feeders there was a trail. So we cleared the trail
a few times and the garden was created. We mostly installed
perennials for the obvious reason that they come back each year. But
we do put in some annuals each year to bring in color in the middle
of summer.
I created some panoramic pictures, at the bottom, of the whole
garden as we build it and as it has bloomed.
